Are you looking for a new project? Something that will help you refine your paper piecing skills (or, perhaps, get you started) AND give you a chance to learn some new home dec techniques? If that sounds like a great idea to you, here’s what Lori and Brenda have in mind.
After the holidays they are going to team teach a class that will result in a new pillow on your sofa, in your chair, or on your bed.
Lori will teach paper piecing the pillow top. She will be using a pattern from Arcadia Avenue Pattern Book (included in your kit fee). There are twelve (12) patterns in the book and can be stitched in a quilt, table topper, or pillow. The blocks are all hexies, which makes a very interesting pillow top.
Brenda will teach the pillow construction, including making piping, inserting an invisible zipper, and constructing a box around the pillow top and bottom. You’ll cut foam and apply batting for loft and contour.
The two (2) class session are nearly 2 weeks apart. You will have homework. But, you will also have guidance and support.
